The Dutch Petrophysical Society Revival Event “Petrophysics in the Netherlands – the Past, Present and Future” was held on 19th May 2016 at the KIVI building in Den Haag.
The event was a huge success and was attended by 78 professionals from the Dutch oil and gas industry representing the full spectrum of operating companies, service companies and independent consultants.

The two presentations “The evolution of life-cycle petrophysical evaluation & data acquisition techniques in NAM” presented by Oscar Kelder – Petrophysics Discipline Lead and Cluster Development Lead – NAM and “Amstel field – from first oil discovery to first oil production”, presented by Danijela Krizanic – Asset Petrophysicist – ENGIE E&P Nederland were both warmly received by the capacity attendance.

Following the presentations the attendees took the opportunity to catch up with old acquaintances in the combined social event and poster session where Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Schlumberger and Weatherford each presented a poster on their selected new oilfield technologies.
